   Proposal Description:
   Assessment and management of the health care needs of persons with dementia are complicated by heterogeneity in diagnoses, disease stages and trajectories, neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) and physical illnesses. Aims: 1. To describe neuropsychiatric symptom (NPS) that coexist with different dementia diagnosis types and stages of severity. 2. To explore the potential impact of comorbid physical illness (e.g., cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes) on the associations between dementia diagnosis type, stage of severity and the presence of specific NPS.
